Meet Mark
Mark Childs is the founder of the MC Performance Centre & MC Online. Mark is a fully qualified personal trainer & strength and conditioning coach with a background in professional football himself. Since stopping playing, Mark has worked with some of the best Strength & Conditioning coaches in the UK & Europe to help gain knowledge to work with players at the top level & continue his professional development.
Mark has worked with Footballers who have played at international level, the Premier League, Championship, League 1 & 2 & non-league, National level netballers & horse riders aswell as some of the best upcoming Youth athletes in South Coast.
Alongside team sport athletes, Mark has also worked with Running athletes & Triathletes.
Following Mark’s background in professional football he understands from experience what is missing in terms of knowledge & support for athletes outside elite set ups.
Mark has immense pride in the services MC Performance provides & believes in going above & beyond for everyone associated. Athletes can see this with the in-depth services the MC Performance Centre provides.
Our MC Performance motto is ‘Set the Standard’. This is something Mark believes applies to everything he does as an individual & a message for what the MC Performance team provides.

Meet Gemma
Gemma McGuinness is a qualified Performance Nutritionist who has experience working with clients ranging from the general population seeking to improve their health and body composition to elite athletes aiming to improve their performance.
Gemma is passionate about helping people improve their relationship with food & build healthier habits that lead to higher performing lives which aligns perfectly with us at MC Performance.
If you're an athlete who lacks knowledge around fueling for your training, competition & recovering efficiently then Gemma can take your nutrition to new levels.

Meet Mary
STRENGTH & CONDITIONING COACH
Mary graduated from Loughborough University where she studied BSc Sport and Exercise Science.
She volunteered as an S&C coach with Loughborough Swimming and completed a placement with British Skeleton alongside currently interning as a sport scientist with British Weightlifting. Mary designs & delivers our Group Personal Training sessions alongside working 1-1 with Athletes & designing our programmes at the MC Performance Centre.
Mary supports our members and athletes with the delivery of workshops, ongoing client support and assisting in Nutritional guidance alongside our Performance Nutritionist.
Expect high energy, commitment and a coach who will go above and beyond for you when working with Mary.

Our online packages cater to both Professional Athletes and Everyday Gym Goers, providing a comprehensive service for both Strength & Conditioning, and Performance Nutrition. We go above & beyond to get results with people across the globe.
Performance Testing & Body Composition Scans
Using ForceDecks & our Scanners to measure body composition, test athletes power, reactive strength and monitor strength or look for performance benchmarks when rehabbing an injury. They are up their with the world’s best equipment and our athletes & clients have access to it all.
